The high monthly cost of emptying his cesspool convinced Peter Gamblin that something had to be done; however, the options of finding a treatment process to meet a very high quality effluent was proving elusive - that was, until he found Bio-Bubble. Bio-Bubble converted the GRP cesspool into their Advanced-Aeration treatment process and, since October 2005, Peter Gamblin has been enjoying a substantial cost saving.
Bio-Bubble was able to offer a treatment system capable of imparting better than 1 mg/l ammonia along with BOD and Suspended Solids in single figure concentrations. Practically all other systems are incapable of offering this quality without further tertiary treatment facilities being applied. Furthermore, the high sludge reduction rates achieved by the Bio-Bubble system approximates to emptying being required once every 6 years at the full population residency load.
The lower energy costs together with low sludge production also provides an exceptional reduction to the carbon footprint, which in turn is further reduced by far less tanker visits taking on average 8 tanker loads per year off the roads.
Mr Gamblin stated in a letter. “Delighted to say that your Bio-Bubble System has completely transformed our “sanitary conditions”… No longer do we have the constant problems of the cesspit, its emptying every 6 -8 weeks and the expense, and inconvenience… Over the past nearly three years, we generally have nothing but praise for the Bio-Bubble, and your organisation. We have complete peace of mind regarding the installation – long may it continue to function and indeed, long may your organisation continue to prosper”.
